I'm sure that this is a simple formatting issue, however I can't seem to find the correct format or function to utilize.
How to you convert numbers to text? Example is that of a check. Amount equals $113.23 How do you format another cell to display "One hundred thirteen dollars and 23/100" Thanks for your help, TS |

Brian,
Thanks for the tip on where to find my solution. I was able to paste in the formula into Visual Basic, and even tweak it to produce cents as a fraction of 100 instead of spelling it out. (ie, "46/100" instead of "forty six cents") Next question on this topic. This works fine for the one spreadsheet that I pasted the procedure into. How can I make this global so that it's available in all of my workbooks? Or is there an easy was to activate it other spreadsheets? Thanks in advance |
