monthly/daily/weekly macro

I am trying to create a macro which will activate every month so that a monthly database is created. does anyone have any idea how I could do this? (i suppose it would involve communicating with the date/time on the desktop???)

Use the task Scheduler.
On taskbar.

ok, thanks, but how do you save the macro so that it can be used by the taskbar. (my taskbar only allows me to run programs)
