I would like to know if excel can help me?
I have 4 bins. Entering the four bins are noodles from 8 kettles. Exiting the bins are noodles of different quantities in kg. I need to keep track of when a kettle ends in a bin and when the other begins. Eg. On Monday from Kettle 6, 2000kg of noodles enter Bin 1. On Monday 1000kg exit bin 1 so I have 1000kg left in bin1. On Tuesday 50kg enter bin 1 from kettle 7 but 1050kg exit bin 1 on Tueday. I need to keep track when kettle 6 finished by denoting zero and when kettle 7 began. This is a straight forward eg but it gets complicated by using different amounts. I know there can only be 5 different kettles entering on a week basis so my cells are limited and I need to track it for the year on a monthly basis. If anyone understands my problem can u please help Thanks Sky |

Hi Ponder:
Sample data (table layout) and what formulas you are using with a clear description of what is the problem and why the formula you are using is not working will be big help!
