Hi,
I have some cells with Data and Formulas that relate to other worksheets. I have positioned a Graph over the top to hide the cells, however when I print, the cells print also (right in the middle of the graph). I want to move the cells but when I do, it changes the cell reference. Can I copy the cells into another part of the worksheet, but not change the formula references. PS I am pretty green so go easy on me. cheers |

Hi
If you Cut the cells (not Copy) all references will automatically follow. |

Hi
If you drag the cells in question, they will retain the correct references to the cells they are pointing to. Select the cell(s) in question and place the mouse pointer on the bold outline of the selection, left-click-hold and drag. Another option is to make your references static. For example: formula =A2 Make static formula =$A$2 Or you can do what Dave said. I did't know that Dave! Have a nice day! Tom |
