hi,
I want to create 4 character login names from a column with 250 adressen. Example: column 1: Miss L. chackenbackerslacher Column 2: acher Column 1: mrs P. diddy Column 2: iddy The point is, not all names have the same length otherwise I could just pull a simple substring. I tried working with the mid function but this only works from position 1. I looking for a "reverser" (start at end) mid function or something. To be honest: If I`d put some effort in it, I could figure this one myself of course. But I know that there are users here who can just dream codes like these. It wil save me a lot of time so I owuld be gratefull if someone would help me out. Cheers, Dinictus.
