I have a set of dates in column A and a set of figures ranging from 0.5 to -0.5 representing variations between duplicate test results in column B.

I want to produce a chart with Values on Y axis and dates on X axis. with 0 line highlighted in center of graph. Legends to appear on on Y Axis and X axis (on bottom of page - not along center line)

I know this may be a simple solution but I am not very experienced with charts.

Thanks in advance

Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.
Hi Brenkk, welcome to the board. Sounds like this is all do-able in Excel.
Suggest you experiment with the Chart Wizard. Then if you get stuck on any particular section, post back with more details. Good luck !

Thank you Gerald,

I have been trying using the chart wizard but the X (Date)legend appears along the center 0 line in the center of the chart. This is obscuring some ot the negative data points on the chart

Once you have made the XY scatter using the defaults, right-click the X axis, choose Format axis, and on the Patterns tab, check the Low option for tick mark labels.
