I want to make an x-y scatter chart with named labels on each point.
My data table looks like: Person Speed Quality Sue: 4, 7 Joe: 3, 9 Sam: 7, 3 Jane: 5, 5 I want a chart with Speed on the X axis, Quality on the Y axis, a mark at each x-y point, and a data label of the name beside the point. My actual data has 14+ items whith x-y values which will change as I update the data. If I manually label the data points, I have to manually move the labels each time the data changes. The only solution I have found is to make 14 separate series with one x-y point each. This method is tedious. [ This Message was edited by: charlieowen on 2002-03-28 12:39 ] |

Take a look at Rob Bovey's XY Scatter Labeler (item 20) at http://www.xl-logic.com/pages/charts.html.
