I have an item number and description in a column all together. The item numbers are all 5 digits followed by the description. Is there a way to remove the first 5 characters and put them into a new column?
Thanks in advance for any help. |

Hi teebruin,
Just to elaborate on what lenze have said, highlight the desired column,go to Data, text to columns, fixed width, next, create your breakline on desired position then finish... Happy Easter...! Ed Namzug |
