How do I convert a date to a text string? I don't want to change the format, I want to change the actual cell value
e.g. change value in cell A1 from 37288 to "2/1/02" Thanks! giacomo |

will the text function not work say example =text(anycell,"dddd mmmm yyyy") format as you need you past akes for "2/1/02" so try: =text(anycell,"dd/mm/yy") Quote:
