The problem is this..
I want to use a .jpg background in a spreadsheet. OK no problem but for the fact that Xcel uses by default the WHOLE sheet. So a file of 300Kb becomes 3Mb. The background should fit into the print area.....at least that is my idea and goal... Help if you can Melvin |

soory what are you trying to do?
save file space when you inset a background? If so rem that its tiled picture and so will become large in size find a small size jpg file as back ground or larger are small files size best
