Is it possible for combo/drop boxes with in a sheet to go into a sub-combo/drop box in the same way a menu does.
i.e. combo/drop box list of countries select England Sub-combo/drop box appears with cities in. I would love to find out if this is possible and if it is how to do it? Many thanks in advance for your knowledge Dan |

Yes, it is entirely possible.
pivot table would be one way, I don't use them very much so I can't offer much advice. I do however have an alternative solution using a lot of INDIRECT() functions, I have an example workbook I created for someone else a while a go, I'll send it to you if your interested?

If you go to OzGrid.com and checkout the examples/downloads, there is one called ChangingCombos2.zip that is what you are looking for.
Here's the direct link to the file: http://ozgrid.com/download/ChangingCombo2.zip |
