Formula help Please!!!

Don't ask me why, but I have to show in a column how I arrived at a certain number in a formula equation!
I need a formula that might end up looking like this:

14.18 * 24 = 340.32

I need to write it somewhat like this;
=if(O12>0,then whatever figure in the cell of Daily Log X7(Which is 14.18) * whatever figure is in the cell of Worksheet D7 (which is 24) = the sum (which is 340.32)

I also need to end another formula with Sum:
=11.2&"*"&2.4214"*"&'Out of Rank'!S7&"="

=11.2&"*"&2.4214"*"&'Out of Rank'!S7&"="the sum figure in O13

I hope someone can help...Thank you!

Try the following:

=IF(O12>0,X7&"*"&D7&"="&X7*D7)

Is this what you want (you were a little confusing)?

Didn't work Al Chara...I am taking this info off of two other worksheets....one calle Daily log and another called worksheet .
wouldn't the formula have to include in some way Daily logX7 * Worksheet D7 ????

Ok, I missed that part, try the following:

=IF(O12>0,'Daily Log'!X7&"*"&Worksheet!D7&"="&'Daily Log'!X7*Worksheet!D7)
