Hi all, What I have is a Workbook that has 3 automatic query's that start when the workbook is open. Each pulls in about 30000 records from 3 different dbase's.I would like to get rid of these start up query's. I was wondering if there was a way, To only have the records that I am looking for be retrieved. Each Record has a unique number like (101040). At the most on any worksheet is 300 numbers neaded, so I am pulling alot of data into the program that is not always neaded.
So If the user types in ( 101040), and so on. Can only the specified records that the user types in,be imported into the worksheet. |

See the Excel Help topics for "Create a query that prompts for criteria" and "Guidelines for constructing a query". Pay special attention to the 2nd topic's mention of a parameter query.
