I co-worker is using excel with a big Page 1, Page 2 and so on these pages are darkendand are used as the work sheet. I've been watching him work with these for a while. I don't want to ask the office jerk how he does this so I'me asking here. How does he do this?

You can add a watermark as a background graph in Excel. Try:
On the Format menu, point to Sheet, and then click Background. Select the graphics file to use for the background pattern. Create the graphic with Word or Paint. You may need to play with your graphic, as it may want to fill the whole background? JSW |

Ford,
Dreamboat is spot on once again.... I use this all the time (must be an office jerk thing!) go to print preview and then select "page break preview", it will darken all the non-print range and put in big "page 1" and "page 2" on your working area. Then you just carry on working as normal with this enhanced viewing mode. (From memory, it a bit like WYSIWIG in Lotus) try it ! _________________ Hope this helps, Chris edit... bloody acronyms, I meant "WYSIWYG" [ This Message was edited by: Chris Davison on 2002-04-03 09:53 ] |
