I've got thousands of water level readings I'd like to average based on varying time periods. Is there a way that I can average the data automatically for, let's say, 1 week for the entire dataset. Can someone tell me if I can also get a max and min?
Much appreciated! |

You could use a Pivot Table and group by date. You can select average (or Min, Max)for the Data Field option. Your data will have to be arranged in a table format with one column for dates, the other for readings. Then create the Pivot Table. Use Dates for the row field, Readings for the Data Field. You can group the date field by weeks, months, quarters, etc.

Hi blueberry
A pivot Table would also be my first choice, but also look under Data>Subtotals |
