Every evening I have to run a very tedious routine. Using some custom developed software, the routine automatically generates 2 new browser windows displaying files for each of 4 portfolios (= 8 windows). For each portfolio one window is the name of the portfolio and the other is the name followed by SUMMARY.
Generally, I manually copy the URL of the file and open it in Excel. From there, I have to copy certain data to another workbook, but that part i think I can handle. Is it possible to script something that: (a) recognizes when the IE windows have appeared, and (b) opens the URL in excel Thanks in advance. |

Hi
Perhaps you can bypass IE all together and do all of your work in Excel. Has browser capability. Tom |
