Time to tenths of an hour

looking for how excell does min. into tenths of an hour. As in A1=5:15pm, B1=1:30am and C1 =the total elapsed time.

I want A1=5.2p,, B1=1.5a,, and C1=8.3 hrs.
I can't find tenths of an hour or cant seem to get excel to tell me.

Hi

If you have the time 1:30 in cell A1 use:

=A1*24 and format as "General"
