Is there any way of clicking on a single point in an XY scatter and only then obtaining a label to identify the point? The standard Excel text that displays when you hover over a point is not sufficient since the cell that identifies the point is not one of the columns being graphed. Rob Bovey's excellent XY Chart Labeler is a great help for this type of thing but I need to manage charts which have hundreds of points and so do not want the labels displayed unless required.

I had the same problem not too long ago. I downloaded this nifty add-on from here. It's PUP2000. Give it a try!
