(Thought I would rename the issue. Maybe it will help define the issue.)
Hi guys.... I have Excel 2000 and am needing to do something that I have never done, but believe it can be done. I have several worksheets containing some duplicate data which needs to be condensed into one worksheet. There are over 400 rows of data that need to be compared. The only common data that the worksheets share are the client names. (Some of the clients have dropped off the previous years list, so their names may not be on my main list.) I need to take the data from the excess worksheets that is not in my new, main worksheet, and bring it over to the new sheet. What is the best way to do this?? I am having to do this manually, but I know it can be done in some other fashion. Any suggestions?? I have provided a link to an example of the data I am dealing with. Thanks again, Jason Example of issue [ This Message was edited by: J Lowe on 2002-04-05 09:00 ] [ This Message was edited by: J Lowe on 2002-04-05 09:32 ] |

Hi
Your example only contains one old sheet not several? Irregardless, this can definitely be accomplished with VBA. Someone else may provide a better solution. If not, provide link(or send to my email) examples containing all old sheet types which need to be converted to the new type. tstom@hotmail.com Tom |

Thanks for the offer Tom. I'll send over an email, but the link I provided seems to show two tabs that contain the two worksheets. If it doesn't, let me know and I'll figure out why it's not showing up.
I appreciate the help. Jason |
