Is there a way of expanding the workbook beyond column IV, which I believe is the last column as it seems to be the end column in every workbook I am using.
I tried running a search on this site but it continues to result in errors so I apologize if this question has been answered previously. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks Sean [ This Message was edited by: sean98 on 2002-04-05 09:35 ] |

IV is the last column for excel. If you need anything bigger then I beleive the only way is to tie to other sheets or workbooks. Other than that I think Lotus has more columns if you want to change programs. HTH Dan. |

Hi
If you short of columns remeber you could transpose or split over more than one sheet.

The Office Spreadsheet control (which is basically a cut down version of a normal Excel worksheet) has 702 columns. You could use it to store data and then extract into a regular worksheet for more advanced manipulation of the data.
There's plenty of info on the net - type Microsoft Office Spreadsheet Control into a search engine. If you have any problems please post back. Regards, Dan |
