control break report

i am new to excel can some one tell me how to print a control break report

I have data like this

State Name addr1 addr2
Mn Mike xyz
MN John abc
IL Tom XYZ
IL Terri ABC

Want Mn and IL to appear only once after the break and should display count for each state

Use a PivotTable with 'State' in the ROW area and Count of State in the DATA area.

Thaks. I tried that but it only gives me count. I want to print a control break report with header and footer for each change. can i do that in excel
