Hi everyone,

Firstly, although this is my 1st post, I have been a long time forum reader. All your answers have been so helpful that I have not yet had to ask a questions. Thankyou so very much.

That said, I have not been able to find an answer on this occasion.

I am playing around with dynamic ranges and then using the ranges as the source for chart data.

If I continue to persue this avenue, I will end up with many rows of values that will be charted that each need a range name and has a long offset formula for the reference.

What I would like to know is, can I produce a list that can then be used to generate the ranges? That is, the reverse of Insert>Name>Paste>Paste List.

The current application I intend using it for is not that complex/important (just a planned vs actual progress chart that can reasonably easily be generated manually), so this is as much a learning exercise for future projects.

Hope this makes enough sense and that some one can help. Maybe the answer is as simple as produce the list of names and the formulea, then repeatedly Insert Names.

Thankyou,
Darren
