Hello all,
Anayone knows how to keep a column always visible when using horizontal sroll? For example i have certain projects listed in colomn B. To the right all columns represent dates to a calendar. When selecting the final weeks of the year column B is however not visible anymore and inputting the right date with the right project becomes harder. Any solutions so that B2 will be always visible even when scrolling to the right? |

Hi Frisco
You need to freeze panes. Look at the horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of your sheet. Immediately to the right of the right scroll arrow is a thin bar. Click on this and drag it left to the border between columns B and C. Now go to your toolbar, Window, Freeze Panes. regards Derek ps Alternatively, select Column C then go to your toolbar, Window, Freeze Panes. Hi frisco
No you can't do that, you would need to change column B to the A position, and then freeze column A. By scrolling before freezing you can have only B showing in the freeze pane (or just simply hide column A). Incidentally, a similar process allows you to freeze rows so that your headings remain stationary as you scroll down the rows. You can have both at the same time too. regards Derek [ This Message was edited by: Derek on 2002-04-08 04:51 ] |

Hi friso
As Dereck has said this would not be possible directly. You could however play about with Window>Split |
