Checkbox background

I have a worksheet which contains VB checkbox controls. The worksheet background is a JPEG.

How can I ensure that the transparent background of the checkbox is perminant - when I load the sheet, I have a transparent background but as soon as a checkbox is selected the background of the checkbox becomes visible.

Try sizing the control so that just the check box itself is visible. Then you don't even need to have the background be transparent.
