When I try to "sort" by 2 different (number formatted) columns the top 3 numbers are not in the correct order. I have tried changing the formatting Category, but it still does the same thing. I have checked for spaces and odd characters.

They are titled as below. This is "Item #" column that will not sort (top 3).
The "Shift" column is all "1" SHIFT 1 ITEM # 411105 411172 411288 411010 411014 411034 411036 411038 411044 411045 |

in another field, multiply the field by 1 and sort on that. I have hade this problem before and it was usually due to a "space" before or after the number.

in a separate cell put = then select an area that you have a problem with, so it say somthing like =A1:B40. hit F9 and copy/paste the results here.
