How do you set up a (on a network) workbook so two users can update and all others are read only.

You could save the book with a "Password to Modify". Anybody could then open the book as read only but ony those that know the password could cange the data. Select the OPTIONS button on the Save As dialogue box. You could also Share the book so the two users could modify it at the same time. HTH |

Have your IT department set-up a shared folder on the network, with read and write permission for the two people with user names and passwords. For all others just read only.
