On my active worksheet, I have linked to another worksheet, in another file, and used the VLOOKUP function. But I am finding that I have to have that other file open in order for the VLOOKUP function to work... otherwise my active worksheet will display #VALUE in the cell. Is this normal with EXCEL or have I done something wrong in my formula? The formula is as follows:
=SUMIF([InvAFH0104Adj0201.xls]Sched51!$D$2:$D$109,VLOOKUP($B126,'G:FH Master PlanFHMP 2002Inventory[Inventory 2002.xls]Translations'!$A$2:$C$190,3),[InvAFH0104Adj0201.xls]Sched51!$R$2:$R$109) Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! |

Make sure you update external references on opening the sheet.
Good luck |
