There are two workbooks in two networked computers.
Workbook b.xls contains sheets("b1"), Sheets("b2") Workbook c.xls contains sheets("c1"), Sheets("c2") In another computer i want to create a new workbook a.xls. In a.xls, sheets("b1")'s source is sheets("b1") in b.xls. Same with sheets("c1"). b.xls and c.xls updates frequently. How can i create a.xls and make a.xls automatically changes with the changes of b.xls and c.xls. |

Create your new workbook ('a'). Copy the data in 'b', plus as many blank rows and columns as you think will be filled up eventually. Then just Paste Special- Paste Links onto the sheet in 'a' where you want the data to appear. Do the same for all the other sheets. You can copy entire sheets in this way, but it usually leads to a very large workbook. Hope that helps.

Hi
Just a point can you not share the book / ss with password access to a token ring on the network IE YOUR Shared workbooks network inside main network Thus no updating, set show changes at once and every one can update togethen, as set save to autosave every 2 mins,,,,, Rdgs ========== Jack |
