is there any way in which I can have a password prompt on a particular sheet within a workbook??

Hi,
do you mean "protention sheet"? if it is, go "tools" ==> "Protention"==> "Protect Sheet" Good Luck! |

cheers mate.i knew that feature was there but didnt realise it allowed protect and password funtion together

BTW worth adding this protection is very very poor and takes me seconds to get arround without a password, but will stop most office satff getting thier mucky fingers on the hidden or protected data Rdgs ========== Jack |
