I've done this recently.
What i did was made a combobox from the "forms" toolbar. Then in the range prompt selected the range of options from the workbook. Then in another cell You make the "link". In the cell you want the selected option to appear type"Index=(First cell in range:last cell in range, link" it works a treat. |

Dropdown boxes =
Make a range which you want to copy into dropdown goto>>Insert>>name>>create Excel will ask you if you want to make the top row the header, you say yes. Then you go to the cell where you want the dropdown to be. When you are on that cell goto>>Data>>Validation Say in dropdown= List Type in next available box =and the header. If not clear enough contact me via email _________________ If you can help a friend in need, you are a friend indeed SO~ if you can help you do so.
