Just need to spruce up my table, the borders which comes along with excel2000 is rather boring, unlike in WORD, is there a way to get my table bordered with rather catchy designs.(Internal as well as the outer bounderies)..thx col.

yeah, you have the same options as for table borders in word, in fact even more shading types maybe.
Select the area you need to work on, right click on it, and select "Format Cells...", you can set all types of things, including snazzy coloured, dashed, dotted, & double borders...
