Is there a way to use a bulleted list in a cell??? I don't see anythiing in help refering to this, so maybe it's impossible to do in Excel??

Also, is there any way to split a (rather large) cell at all? Similar to the feature in tables where you can draw a line down a cell?

For splitting I would use the Data-->Text to Column.

As for Bullets have you tried using the character map to copy the character you want then paste it in excel cell and edit with your verbage.

Hope this is what you were asking.

Try the symbolizer add-in from Chip's site

http://www.cpearson.com/excel/chars.htm

it is a tools for inserting symbols in excel
cells.

What was wrong with all the answers you got when you posted these questions previously?

I don't think Chookers posted this recently. It appears that this was one of the posts that got shuffled to the back of the line when the MrExcel server was reset with the wrong date a while back.

I think Chookers reposted because the original post disappeared, but this may have been the first one.

I did a search for Bullet.
It produced a lot of previous posts re bullets and cell splitting - mainly initiated by Chookers - with plenty of responses.

Thanks Jay, you're right it was from the day the board was was having trouble. If you look through 4 posts you'll see that was what was happening.

Have tried lots of the responses - thanks very much!
