Dear All,
I have accidentally locked up a database in Access by a password and I have lost the password, is there any way to crack the password so that I could re-activate the database??? |

The trouble with passwords is that they're meant to be secure, and not easily bypassed. Otherwise there wouldn't be much point would there!?
You're not necessarily out of luck though - just expect it to take a whole lot of time and effort on your behalf. Start here and start searching for password recovery utility for Access. I'm sure theres one out there somewhere. http://www.password-crackers.com |

really, it is not difficult at all to recover. I did it myself recently, downloaded free software and zapped the database to enable me to access it, all in about 5 minutes. try cnet.com who are also quite good for downloads.
