Demand forecasting

Dear Sirs,
I am looking for information (white papers, models, ...) on how to maximize the use of MS Excel in forecasting sales of finished goods. The purpose is to estimate daily demand for coming 6 to 12 months, and for a total of 100 SKUs (different products).

Do you think you could provide me with the material, or otherwise indicate me where to look for it?
