Hello All,
Not sure if this is possible. Need a formula. One of my coworkers has in column C a number representing an amount of people, in column D they input various time frames, and in column E they input the total amount of time in hours (number of people * length of time = total time in hours). The kicker is the way they input the time in column D which is as follows; 9-930A 930-10A 2-230P 230-3P 9-1015A 8-915P 9-10A 9-10A 12-1P 1-2P 2-3P Is there a formula that would give the resulting length of time, i.e 9-930A = .5 or 9-1015A = 1.25..etc..etc So that in Column E could house the formula that multiplies C*E(length of time) p.s. They need to maintain the current format of entering the time they are using above. Thanks, Ima Learnin’ |
