I just got a new machine and want to copy all of my Excel macros (and custom buttons if possible) from my old box to the new machine. Is there an easier way to do this without re-recording the macros and recreating all of the custom buttons?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! |

can't you just copy the file across
otherwise you can export the modules from the project explorer. |

The odd thing is that if I do a search for any of the macros (in explorer), there are no returned results. All of the macros are stored in the "personal" macro workbook in excel, and I can copy the personal.xls file over, but in order for me to access the macros, I have to start Excecl by opening the personal.xls file first!

OK, I was able to copy the Macros over, but what about the custom buttons?
