I am trying to use the sumif function to gather information from another workbook. This works fine as long as the workbook that I am trying to get the info from is open. If it is closed and I calculate the formulas, then I get the #VALUE! error. I can use other functions to gather info from the same workbook without issue. I don't want to have this other workbook open in order to make it work. Questions? Comments?
Thanks! |

However, you can tranfer the SUMIF formula from WB1 to WB2 and fetch the results of it from WB1 by others means that do not require WB2 to be open. |
