Is there a way to have a spreadsheet automatically refresh or update?

If you mean Calculate. Have a look at the Tools | Options... menu command's Calculation tab.

No ... sorry not the calculate option. That occurs only on a cell value change and what I was looking for was to update a date automatcally .... like a real time clock. The spreadsheet goes out and grabs data on a date change and I don't want to be here every day to update it. Please help me go on vacation!

I use the formula TODAY() in the calculation but the problem is that unless the spreadsheet is opened or the filed refreshed the date stays the same. I don't know how to automate the refreshing of the date field.
I would like to leave the sheet just sit there, go to the next day, update the day and go and get the new data ... without me touching a thing. Hope someone can help .... |
