I tried the suggestions offered yesterday on the following, but I have a slight problem.
I have data from B2:R500. I sorted that range by Salesman Codes. Set my Data Filter, select the drop dowm menu for the Salesman Code and click on Custom (Equals 029 or Equals 008). All displays perfectly. Data for 029 runs from rows B2:B50 Data for 008 runs from B92:B180. I then CTRL+END to select it all, Ctrl+X. I then GOTO Edit, Special, and check off "Visible Cells Only". Then I paste the data to another sheet. Everything shows from B2 to B180, rather than from B2:B50 and B92:B180. Even though the data from B51:B91 wasn't visible, it displayed it on the Cut sequence. Can anyone figure out what IO did wrong? thanks for your help, Zac |

Cut doesn't work like Copy does on a filtered list. Consider using Copy/Paste and then go back and Clear Contents on the displayed rows of the filtered list.

OK any idea
if filters this date is sortable ie sort it so to custom whatever and the the data will line up and copy selection as reqd and paste.. Tgis is common and easy to do then un sort ie return to original state take seconds.. nice trick!
