how do i merge 2 excel files

i want to merge 2 excel files based on matching id numbers. suggestions?

Try DATA|CONSOLIDATE

suggest save as test and what ever file was namesd and play on that firts

TOP TIP never work on live sheet back it up sdave it in neqw name and play
