Hi All,
Big Problem .. of the Mega Variety! I noticed that the Ranges on an Advanced Filter, extracting to another range were incorrect. These are also incorrect in the macro .. when I try to change the values I get the following : EXCEL caused an invalid page fault in module EXCEL.EXE at 018f:30060a9f. Registers: EAX=00000000 CS=018f EIP=30060a9f EFLGS=00010202 EBX=00000000 SS=0197 ESP=0062db30 EBP=0062db70 ECX=c8c51b60 DS=0197 ESI=00dac0fc FS=5157 EDX=0001488f ES=0197 EDI=00000000 GS=0000 Bytes at CS:EIP: ff 30 ff 74 24 10 e8 52 63 fb ff 50 e8 da 35 fd Stack dump: 0062db64 00000001 30180e2d 00000000 00000000 0062db64 00000001 00000000 00000201 ab64996d 00000003 00000000 0062fb01 000001ab 00000171 00000000 Am I looking at an 'Excel' problem or a 'System' problem or both? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks S |

I would say from past experience that this happens as soon as you have done alot of work and not saved also the fact that excel cannot handle the jandle when it comes to some code!

Morning Brett,
Thanks for the response. It seems to 'bomb out' when I try to change and run the Advanced Filter' manually without touching the macro code. It definitely does not like it! I am of a mind to cleardown this sheet and start again in the hope that it will sort it .. but that is for tomorrow. Cheers S |

Matter of interest ..
I took the Spreadsheet into work today and changed the Advanced Filter settings and macro in Excel 2002 - No Problem! I seem to recall writing that aspect of the Spreadsheet in work and hence Excel 2002 but I only have 2000 at home. Seems a harsh message to receive for using a combination of Excel Versions! I have also encountered problems attempting to operate an AutoSum operation what works in Excel 2000 does not in Excel 2002. Has anyone else had similar issues between Excel 2002 and 2000? Regards S |

without the codes and seeing the prob as you do its hard but dont let anyone tell you CODES are ALL ok some systems OP and Excel version do clase no reason just do..
im working on a passage to help users but im like a hampster on a tread wheel ROUND AND ROUND.. I suggest record a version_97_whatever Version_2000_ Version_XP_ and link to what you need.... sounds silly. I have issues in printing no reasion and even caluclation on loops... that in win95 and E97 to XP both....
