Locking up in Excel

I keep getting a message that tells me excel has generated errors and an error log is being created. It wont let me back into the file either. I believe this to be caused by copying too many worksheets within the file. Do you know how I can fix this? Thanks.

suggest copy and paste sheets buy sheet, abd save each time
