iteration problem

I have a work sheet where in column C and D where c1=c1+a1 and d1=d1+b1 etc, I have set the iteration in the "calculation" under tools to 1 yet when i enter a digit in A cell D also changes, same thing happens to C when numbers are entered in B I have tried c1=$c1+$a1 and D1=$d1+$b1 but still the same thing happens huh Help me pls colleen

Hi Colleen...
Seems to kinda work...

When I put =C1 + A1 in C1 all is well
but if I place any similiar formulas in the same column, no dice...
Could solve the problem in the change event...
I'll wait and see if someone else can help you..

thanks Tom, now a real silly question to enter the code I have to right click the worksheet tab and enter the code as is ..coll
