Hi,
I need a macro to compare 2 sheets of data, find the cells that match then place certain rows of data from the source sheet to certain rows in the target sheet. Eg, I have a price list with 4000 lines of data, 12 columns wide. I want to compare a different sheet of data, find any matches then "Pick and Place" the data in designated columns on a quote. Hope this makes sense..! |

First up, i know very little about VLOOKUP.. Secondly, can I email a small section of each spread sheet for your advice..? Lets try here though. If it gets difficult, no problem you can send me your workbook. May I ask you to do the following: Activate an empty cell in your source woksheet, type =, select the first 10 rows of your 12 column data, hit F9, copy what you see, and paste it in the follow up posting. Also, try to indicate what you have in the target sheet. Aladin |
