I have a cell with an unknown number of words in it, all in lower case. I want to capitalize the first letter and leave all others as lower case using VBA. Is this possible?

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
Fairwinds, that was exactly what I was looking for, Thank you very much. Iridium, Ivans routine has it in there, but fairwinds single line is what I was after. Thanks to both of you for responding in such short order.

The following formula assumes A1 has the text you want to capitalize.

=CONCATENATE(UPPER(LEFT(A1,1)),RIGHT(A1,LEN(A1)-1))
