Weird import to Access

I have 300 lines of data in an Excel workbook, but when I copy them over to Access it says I have over 700???

Does anyone have any idea why this could be?

Do you have any hidden rows that may be getting copied over?

Test:

Hit ctrl-home to get to cell A1.
Hit Shift+Ctrl-End to get to the last used cell.

If the selection is beyond your data, then Excel thinks there's stuff in those cells, and so will Access.
