Only 255 characters to copy?

I have some cells that will contain a lot of text, but will also need to be copied to another workbook. Excel will only copy the first 255 characters of each cell. Is there a way to disable (or trick) this?

You should get this error when you copy the entire sheet.

A workaround is to copy the sheet, then copy and paste all of the values from the sheet to the new sheet. It's retarded, but it works.
