I am trying to add a drop down button to a cell. The drop down will feed from a list in an other worksheet. I figured out the way to do this using the forms buttons, but, this puts a box over a cell and I cannot link a formula off it. I need an active cell where the drop down only appears when your cursor is on the cell. I have an example of this which I can copy to another cell, but, cannot figure out how it was done or what list that drop down is referencing? Thanks |

You want Data > Validation. Name the range of the list in your other worksheet and use it as the validation list.
