How can I tell Excel to quit treating email addresses as links and treat them as just text? I have 200+ email addresses to enter and don't want them as links. I'm hoping for a 'global,' easy solution, such as "Select the column where you want to do entry, do this [magic thing], then start entry."
Sugestions I've already heard: Use 'undo' after entry. Put a single quote as the first character. Enter addresses somewhere else, cut them then use 'paste special - values only' to paste them where I want them. All of these work but I'm hoping I can get Excel to treat an email address no differently than any other text. Thanks! upchuck |
