0207= 207

when i enter the code 0207 the cell displays 207. is there a way to stop this.

Try formatting the cell as Custom "0000". This should leave your leading zero in place.
Alternatively, just format as text.

I suppose you mean: pre-format the entry range as text before any actual entry.

Enter '0207 (with the apostrophe).

Hi,

When I do the formatting above,its works as
1 = 001
but when I see the formatting again,then it is not as custom 000 but Special : Chinese
What can be the reason that this change even I do nothing in the formatting?
